The Public Health Student Organization (PHSO) is open to all MPH and graduate certificate students. PHSO is dedicated to advancing the field of public health through a commitment to providing beneficial services and philanthropic efforts to the population.

From planting trees, to raising awareness for domestic violence, to blood drives, PHSO makes an effort to reach out and help in EVERY aspect of the public health realm. Specifically PHSO has conducted Summer Learning Days at Wayman Palmer YMCA (photo below, right) and has adopted a family for the holidays.

Programs offering help with careers, interview and resume preparation and great conversation with students and faculty are just a hint of what PHSO membership offers.

Don't forget the fun times with PHSO members, like the Pollyball Tournament on the river front in Toledo this fall (photo below).
